I am working on a new line of couture dog collars -watch dog pet collars these are my own design, as all things - called WatchDogs Dog Collars. These are available online through custom orders via this website, or at the Lake Arrowhead Grooming Salon in Blue Jay, CA.

The idea is that there are lovely collars out there with jewels, but how many have a watch? How often do watches show up on dogs? Probably never. Well, here they are! WATCHES FOR DOGS! On Collars.

These are now for sale at the Lake Arrowhead Dog Grooming Boutique and Spa (which is in Blue Jay, CA, just before Lake Arrowhead Village).

These are also available as custom orders online through new puppy in a red WatchDog Collar with rhinestonesthis website. I was so excited to see these purchased the day I placed them in the shop in Blue Jay. These are going to be huge, and the best part is, each one is unique, and handmade with love.

Here is a brand new puppy, purchased from the Lake Arrowhead Dog Boutique and Spa, wearing one of my first WatchDog Collars. Actually, one of my favorites - a rich red collar with a heart shaped watch face, surrounded by white rhinestones.

This puppy was so sweet and so darned cute. As you can see, the WatchDog collar is adorable on her. Very feminine and even a little diva-like.

I do have another order lined up for this same collar, but I only have so many of this one style. So if you want this one or something like it, let me know!

Pretty much all of my works are unique, one or two of a kind. Some will even feature vintage watch faces. I have 1950s and retro watch faces ready to create for your pets. More fun, cool and absolutely lovely designs to come.

Really. You won’t see these things just everywhere.

More “WatchDog Collars” news later. I am very excited about my new couture dog collars and will let you know when more designs come online.

I was so excited to see my Ginger Snips dog blankets in this newspaper article in the Loma Linda News! ginger snips blankets and Rim of the World Comfort Pets unite!

Linda Smith, owner and Founder of Rim of the World Comfort Pets, bought my “Dalmatians” fleece blanket from Cuby’s Bakery for Dogs in Crestline, CA. She uses the blanket with her therapy dogs when visiting retired fire fighters at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA.

You can see the blanket in the accompanying photos, courtesy of Linda Smith. Apparently warm and fuzzy dogs mixed with warm and fuzzy dog blankets are a hit with the VA hospital residents.

Missy the therapy dog and my fleece Ginger Snips pet blanketI was lucky enough to meet Missy, the beautiful Basenji mix featured in both photos, during a recent visit to the Arrowhead Village Farmer’s Market. Missy is one of those dogs you just feel happy to be around. I could feel love and peace emanating from her serene little face. Linda knows she has an amazing dog to work with, and the two make a potent therapy team.

I am honored to have my blankets be a part of this wonderful charity! Linda and Missy, keep fighting the good fight!

Here are the very latest designs for my line of Ginger Snips Very Large Pet Blankets and Sofa Throws! This Smilebox photo gallery also features large ginger snips pet blanketMollee the Maltese in her adorable little hat, as the newest/fuzziest member of the Red Hat Club.

Keep in the blankets in this slideshow gallery are large! They are for larger dogs, small dogs that like to roll up in a big blankie, or as sofa throws.

Pay close attention to the detail in the microfiber blankets. You can use either side up, but these were designed to have the microfiber facing down, to grip your couch and not slip off.

Then the magic lies in the shiny side - pet hairs won’t stick to it! You can take the blankets outside and shake them off - Viola! A hair free sofa or easy chair. A lovely sofa throw. And cozy, happy, pampered pets.

These blankets are the best of ALL worlds!

I love the Toile blanket especially - it’s fuzzy and cozy and tres chic. I am showing this toile dog print in the picture to the right.

I’d love to read a comment from you about my designs - please feel free to talk to me in the comments box below and I will get right back to you!

You can contact me via Ginger AT Kidsinfurcoats DOT com if you want a custom made blanket of any one of these designs.

Or perhaps something else of your own ideas. I love the ideas my customers come up with! :)

I can also add your dog’s name as an extra touch if you want.

For some reason people think my Maltese dogs Monte and Mollee must be brilliant, since they’ve been getting in emails addressed to them. Asking them questions about life and such.

I will admit these are really smart dogs who know how to use a keyboard and also drive scooters (see picture), but I really can’t promise their advice will be at all useful to you. I mean, they still think like dogs. :)

That said, my dogs told me to tell you they are very happy to receive your questions and fan mail. They promise to answer any questions you, your pets, or your children care to send them, right here on this website.

Of course they made me make an email address just for them! And here it is: MonteandMollee AT KidsinFurCoats DOT com

…(you have to put all that together into an email address, but I know you are smarter than the spam robots and will figure it out. Or just leave a comment here and I will help you). They love getting your letters!
