Mollee:molle is concerned

Hi Fokes!!

Yup…yew gessed it…this is Mollee without spell chek…it just takes soooo long. Monte will forgive me this time…he is in such a good mood..he has been writing his fans back. It will get me off the hook for a while.

I’m missin my Jose, doga does some good, but my hart still beats to the patter of Jose’s feets!! He sent me a message a few minutes ago…kind of strange…instead of saying, “I will see you in my dreams my beautiful little chimichanga,”…he said…”Perro que no camina, no encuentra hueso,” …uh..what…??

I know when he is trying to keep sekrets frum hiz Mum, he speaks spanish because she doesn’t understand it…..but…NEITHER DO I!! I’ve got to figure out what my little hot tamale is up to…I beg of you, my loyal reeders…what does it mean?? I don’t have a translater here. Help.

Love ya!!
They call me….Moll-EE!

My dog senses are going woof woof. I don’t know what Mollee and Jose are up to, but it can’t be good.

She asking for a Spanish translator because he is trying to get a secret message to her..hmm…I don’t know if I should go to Mommy with this bit of insiders information or not. I don’t want to look like a tattle tail, but it could mean trouble in the future..I’ll give it a few days and monitor what is going on, then I’ll decide.
She is right about me being in a good mood, I am. Someone I think named “Just Wandering” wrote me today and asked my opinion about their dogs’ interest in yoga. Hopefully, I addressed the issue and at the same time added some personal insight into a dog owners life. It felt good.

My work here for the day is done. I am going to retire to my beautiful new blanket, stretch out and take a snooze.

Peace and harmony be with you all. Good night,

Montee

Dear Monte,

I really love yoga and have noticed my dogs seem very interested in watching me do it, walking on my yoga mat, climbing on me during Savasana, etc. They also do dear Monte letterlots of Downward Dog poses on their own - imagine that! Since you said you like to do yoga, I was wondering if all dogs are secretly yogis?

Thanks for your time!
- Just Wondering

Dear Just Wondering,

Yes, I believe all dogs are secretly yogis. What I like to refer to as ‘doga’ is spreading across America faster than an uncontrolled wildfire. There really are classes out there for you and your dog to enjoy, it brings you closer together and at the same time is great for both of your healthy lifestyles.

You can help your dog start out with the basics…lets call this first step..flexibility with Fido..limber him up, go for a brisk walk then just roll around on the ground with him. This is especially amusing if you do it in the park. Make sure you get the proper amount of leaves and twigs stuck in your hair…it makes us feel less self-conscious..humans have the wonderful gift of thumbs; making grooming a lot easier, while us dogs are stuck with waiting for our humans to quit their laughing and pull off the pesky leaves stuck on top of our heads.

Don’t forget, dogs have feelings too. Let me know how Fido does!! Thanks for the letter!!

Yours truly,
Monte

I was so excited to see my Ginger Snips dog blankets in this newspaper article in the Loma Linda News! ginger snips blankets and Rim of the World Comfort Pets unite!

Linda Smith, owner and Founder of Rim of the World Comfort Pets, bought my “Dalmatians” fleece blanket from Cuby’s Bakery for Dogs in Crestline, CA. She uses the blanket with her therapy dogs when visiting retired fire fighters at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA.

You can see the blanket in the accompanying photos, courtesy of Linda Smith. Apparently warm and fuzzy dogs mixed with warm and fuzzy dog blankets are a hit with the VA hospital residents.

Missy the therapy dog and my fleece Ginger Snips pet blanketI was lucky enough to meet Missy, the beautiful Basenji mix featured in both photos, during a recent visit to the Arrowhead Village Farmer’s Market. Missy is one of those dogs you just feel happy to be around. I could feel love and peace emanating from her serene little face. Linda knows she has an amazing dog to work with, and the two make a potent therapy team.

I am honored to have my blankets be a part of this wonderful charity! Linda and Missy, keep fighting the good fight!

Monte:

I need you all to make me a promise. Granted, people usually don’t seek the council of dogs for lifestyle choices but I assure you, I’ve found the hidden happiness for life. monte speaksMeditation, it does the soul good, not to mention that the yoga I have been practicing has really helped my love handles. I feel great and I look great too.

Even Mollee, as spacey as she is, has noticed and given me an atta-boy. You know I may not act like it sometimes, but I really do care about that fur ball. She touched me with her compliment. She has even started sitting with me outside in the garden, each with our own doggie blanket beneath our adorable bottoms. This has brought us much closer together.

So if you take one thing away from this today, know that you do have the power to ease up the stress we are all under. It is within reach, just set yourself a goal and work toward it at your own pace. Peace and harmony be with you all.

Mollee:

Hellooo my loyal fans, this is Mollee. This is Mollee on spell check. Brother Monte made me promise to use it and in return he would help me be more Zen-ish. mollee had a dateDon’t get me wrong, I’m still CRAZY like a fox but I feel like it is my duty as a little sister to try out what has made my big bro so happy. Sometimes I giggle when he gets into those weird yoga positions cuz sometimes it makes him toot. He doesn’t seem to mind it though…

It has definitely helped me not be so blue over Jose going back home. Our date really went great, we had bunches of fun, except he threw up on the ferris wheel. That’s okay…if I can live with Monte’s toots I can definitely live with a little chihuahua chunker. Every night Monte gives me something to think about, here is last nights, I’m still thinking on it…..Is the color orange called that because it’s the color of the fruit of the same name, or was the fruit called orange because that’s its color? Which came first, the color or the fruit?

Just when I think I’m almost there…I forget where I was. Send me your thoughts on it, I’d like to be able to go back to him and make him think with my witty answer. Love you guys!! Have a great day!!
